What information should I obtain after my Florida car accident?

“As soon as you’re in an accident it’s important to call law enforcement to get them to come to the scene so they can document what occurred. The information that you need to obtain from the other driver would be their contact information, their insurance policy information, also it’s important that if there’s any witnesses you get their contact information as well. When the law enforcement officer arrives be sure to give them the witness information that you obtained. Additionally, you should take pictures. If you have your phone on you take pictures of the defendant’s car. Take pictures of your car. Be sure to take pictures of the damage done to both cars. If there’s any skid marks be sure that you take pictures of that as well.”
